5/8/17

Light Point Security, creators of the Light Point Web Full Isolation PlatformTM, the only browser isolation technology to provide full isolation from all web content and seamless integration with existing browsers, today announced that Zuly Gonzalez, the company’s co-founder and CEO, was invited to speak at the Pentagon’s Joint Service Provider (JSP) Cybersecurity Forum.

On May 4th, the Pentagon will be hosting the Joint Service Provider Cybersecurity Forum in Washington, DC. The Joint Service Provider provides the full range of information technology equipment, services, solutions, and customer support to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Office of the Deputy Chief Management Officer, and Washington Headquarter Services to meet mission and business requirements. The Pentagon JSP is a new initiative within the Department of Defense to coalesce numerous IT-focused, but separate, DoD organizations with the Defense Information Systems Agency and will provide the common framework for the Joint IT Single Service Provider-Pentagon (JITSSP) to manage IT services in a uniform fashion across all portions of the DoD.

As a subject matter expert on the issue of cybersecurity, Zuly was invited to discuss trends in cybersecurity innovations and the merits of browser isolation as a means for eliminating malware attacks and other web-borne threats.

“It is an honor to be invited to speak before this esteemed group,” said Gonzalez. “Having worked at the National Security Agency for years as a security engineer and program manager, I understand the critical need for protecting the nation’s assets against ransomware, phishing and other malware attacks.”

Zuly’s presentation, Cybersecurity Innovations: Eliminate Malware Attacks With the Latest in Virtual Air Gap Technology - Browser Isolation, will be held the afternoon of May 4 at the Pentagon.
