SC&H Capital, a leading investment bank and advisory firm,is pleased to announce the hiring of Michael Alessi as a Vice President within the practice.
Alessi brings more than 20 years of financial experience to SC&H Capital, and nearly 10 years of specialized practice as an investment banker handling merger and acquisition transactions. As a Vice President in SC&H Capital, Alessi will focus on leading teams in the strategic execution of client engagements, specifically in government contracting and healthcare.

Prior to joining SC&H Capital,Alessi was a Vice President with Stifel Nicolaus & Company. At Stifel Nicolaus, Alessi managed client engagements through all phases of M&A, and executed 12 key sell side and capital raise deals representing more than $2 billion in transaction value.
Before his tenure at Stifel Nicolaus, Alessi worked at Constellation Energy, Merrill Lynch, and Ferris, Baker Watts. Alessi holds a BA in Chemistry from Washington & Lee University, and an MBA from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business.
