MGH Wins Four ADDY Awards for OLD BAY Work at District II Competition

4/13/17

MGH, a full-service marketing communications agency, today announced it won four District II ADDYs – including one Gold and three Silver – for its advertising work. The ADDYs were received for outdoor boards the agency created and a food truck it designed for its “Excite Your Seafood” campaign on behalf of OLD BAY. MGH was the only Baltimore agency to receive a Gold ADDY at the District II competition, which includes agencies from New York to Washington, D.C. This marks the third year in a row that MGH has been recognized at the District II level. The award-winning work will move on to the national competition, where MGH has won an ADDY the past two years.

“We are so proud to see our work recognized at the District II ADDYs for the third year in a row, and to be the only Baltimore agency to receive a Gold District ADDY,” said Andy Malis, chief executive officer of MGH. “Being recognized among agencies from across the region once again is truly an honor for our hardworking team.”

At the Baltimore ADDY competition level, MGH took home six Gold and three Silver awards for creative excellence on a variety of advertising campaigns conducted on behalf of clients, including OLD BAY, PeoplesBank, Pretzelmaker and the Central Baltimore Partnership’s “Explore the Core” campaign, which was created with support from community partners, including Johns Hopkins University. In 2015 and 2016, MGH went on to receive ADDYs at the District and National levels for its OLD BAY work.

The ADDY Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting more than 40,000 entries every year in local ADDY competitions. Baltimore is part of District II, which includes Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C.
