REGENXBIO Announces Proposed Public Offering of Common Stock

ROCKVILLE, Md., March 21, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- REGENXBIO Inc. (Nasdaq:RGNX), a leading clinical-stage biotechnology company seeking to improve lives through the curative potential of gene therapy based on its proprietary NAV Technology Platform, today announced that it intends to offer and sell, subject to market conditions, $75,000,000 of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. The offering is subject to market and other conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed, or the actual size or terms of the offering. In addition, REGENXBIO intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the number of common shares sold in connection with the offering.

Morgan Stanley, BofA Merrill Lynch and Piper Jaffray & Co. are acting as joint book-running managers. Chardan Capital Markets, LLC is acting as co-manager of the offering.
