Warschawski Launches Two New Free Educational Series

Warschawski, a full-service branding, marketing, public relations, advertising and digital agency based in Baltimore, Md., announced today the launch of two new educational series to help the Baltimore business community improve marketing skills and accomplish business goals – “Wednesdays at the W” and “Stand Out Series.”

Both programs are part of Warschawski’s 20th Anniversary celebration, during which Warschawski aims to give back to the Baltimore community. These free classes are in addition to Warschawski’s “20 For 20” initiative during which Warschawski will offer free marketing critiques to 20 deserving business or organizations (www.thewagency.com/20for20).

The first series, “Wednesdays at The W,” provides participants with a one-hour class followed by a networking happy hour. The second series,Stand Out Series,” offers in-depth instruction in a two-hour, intensive class. Each class will feature two different topics that participants can choose from. The first two classes kick-off on April 19 and April 24, respectively, and will be hosted on a monthly basis.

The first Wednesdays at The W event will take place on Wednesday, April 19. The classes run from 5:30 – 6:30 and are followed by a networking happy hour. This event is free and participants can sign up at https://www.warschawski.com/whats-new/events. Participants can choose between two classes:

Getting Started with WordPress: This class will cover the basics of WordPress.com, including selecting themes and plugins, using the customizer, and understanding the media gallery.

Introduction to Branding: This class will provide a top-line education on strategic branding and examples of how great companies successfully use brand.

The first Stand Out Series event will take place on Monday, April 24 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. These classes provide a deeper dive into each topic. Participants are asked to make a suggested donation of at least $20 (not mandatory). Warschawski will donate all proceeds to a Baltimore non-profit. WordPress Development with ACF Pro: In this class, students will learn how to build a component based WordPress site using ACF Pro. All participants should have a working knowledge of WordPress, a local or hosted development environment with WordPress installed, and a copy of the ACF Pro plugin.

Digital Marketing – What Every Business Owner Needs to Know: This class will cover the basic components of digital marketing, how to pick the digital tools that are best for your business and how to effectively track and measure the effectiveness of your campaigns.
