For over 25 years, the team at Berman, Sobin, Gross, Feldman & Darby LLP have been the pacesetters for the evolution of Workers’ Compensation law in Maryland.

In 1996 founding partner, Ken Berman was able to get the highest court in the state to agree that even retired fire fighters, paramedics and other public safety employees are covered under Maryland‘s “presumption” laws for heart disease, hypertension, lung disease and cancer.

In 2008 a 2 Volume seminal treatise on Workers’ Compensation law in the state of Maryland by Founding Partner, Cliff Sobin was published and became the leading authority on workers’ compensation law that is now relied upon by judges, lawyers and Workers’ Compensation Commissioners throughout the state.

In 2016, the firm expanded its footprint to further service clientele with new offices in Maryland and has plans for future office expansion throughout the state.
