Fred Stringfellow, CAE, President of Stringfellow Management Group, Inc. (SMG) has been appointed Chairman of the Board of The AMC Institute (AMCI) effective January 1, 2017. The fifteen Board members joining Mr. Stringfellow represent leading firms from the association management company (AMC) community around the world and key strategic industry partners. 

“Building on the strength of our strategic and brand foundation will allow us to focus this year on showcasing the value and opportunity the AMC model delivers to associations and not-for-profit organizations. I am optimistic, given our industry’s remarkable growth trajectory, that our members and their association clients will continue to grow and thrive,” said Mr. Stringfellow. 

Stringfellow has served on the board for seven years, four of those on the Executive Committee. He has over 25 years of experience in association management and was awarded ASAE's Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation in 1998. He currently serves on the AMC Key Committee for the American Society of Association Executives.
