Meghan McCorkell Joins The Enoch Pratt Free Library As Communications Director

The Enoch Pratt Free Library is pleased to announce that Meghan McCorkell, previously a General Assignment Reporter for the CBS Baltimore WJZ news team, has been named Communications Director.

Meghan McCorkell comes to us from WJZ-TV, where she diligently and sensitively covered local issues. Meghan is an award-winning journalist honored with an Emmy and recognized by twice by the Associated Press for excellence in reporting. During her six years in Baltimore, she has become a part of the community and is involved in several philanthropic causes. For two years, Meghan has been an active member of the Pratt Contemporaries.

“I’ve had the privilege of telling Baltimore’s stories over the past several years,” says McCorkell. “Now, I’m honored to get a chance to tell the stories of such a vital institution as the Enoch Pratt Free Library.” Gordon Krabbe, Acting Chief Executive Officer says, “We are delighted that Miss McCorkell has joined the Library in this important role.” He commented further that, “We are most fortunate to have someone with Meghan’s credentials and record of achievement help tell the story of the Library’s significant impact on Baltimore and the State.”

Meghan is a graduate of the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
