ROCKVILLE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The newly formed Maryland Technology Council (MTC) and the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) recently announced their partnership to co-locate two top life sciences conferences to be held in April 2017 in the Greater Washington, DC area. The NFID 20th Annual Conference on Vaccine Research (ACVR) is scheduled for April 24-26, 2017; and the MTC’s Bio+Tech17 Conference will take place April 27-28, 2017.
ACVR and Bio+Tech17 will be co-located at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. Paid registrants to either conference are entitled to a 15 percent discount on registration to the other conference.

In addition to co-locating the two conferences, the organizations will jointly offer a tour of the new state-of-the-art GSK global vaccines research and development (R&D) center in Rockville, Maryland. The tour will be offered on April 26, 2017.
