Emilee Beeson, Art Director at idfive
After three years of working at the integrated marketing agency, idfive, Emilee Beeson has been promoted to the post of Art Director.
Since joining the firm in 2013, Emilee has worked on a range of web design, print design and marketing campaign projects. Notable efforts include the following award-winning projects: the WRA 100 Years website, University of Baltimore Gamescape concept, and the Baltimore Addy’s 2015 theme and collateral.
The promotion comes after years of hard work on Beeson’s part, combined with a investment in her growth on behalf of the company.
“We don’t just hand out titles,” said idfive’s Creative Director, Matt McDermott. “Every promotion comes after a unique set of professional challenges that the ‘fiver’ must overcome—from speaking at conferences to earning advanced degrees. Things they do to make themselves better, to make idfive better. Emilee tackled every challenge and asked for more. It was inspiring.”
“The term ‘corporate culture’ is thrown around alot these days, but few companies invest in the kind of culture that has lasting impact on a person’s life and career,” said Emilee. “idfive has gone above and beyond in helping me cultivate my passion for design, creativity, and leadership.”
As a company invested in its culture and employee growth, idfive provides a strategic growth plan to every one of its team-members. The plan includes an education and training budget, benchmarks and goals employees must meet, as well as consistent mentorship from leadership.
“I’ve benefited from fully-funded classes, one-on-one council from top industry professionals, and endless opportunities to push me out of my comfort zone,” commented Emilee. “I’m looking forward to contributing to idfive as an Art Director, and continuing to tackle new opportunities for growth. I know idfive will keep them coming!”
