This week, Social & Scientific Systems, Inc. (SSS), a public health research company, opened new offices in Durham.
While SSS has had offices in Durham since 2005, the new building has given the company a facelift for its North Carolina location. Previously located on Slater Road, the new office is now located at 4505 Emperor Boulevard.
As the company continues its global work in public health, its new Durham location opens doors to opportunities for SSS’ plan for growth, recruitment and employee engagement.
“We’re ecstatic about the opening of our new building in the Triangle,” said Kevin Beverly, SSS president and CEO. “We remain close to our major client, National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, and the move reflects our dedication to providing our employees with a comfortable place to work.”
“While the corporate offices are located in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland, the Durham location is a nice platform for us to expand our work in public health,” said Beverly. “Our company has a third office located in Kampala, Uganda, and we support field operations throughout Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America.”
