The transaction closed on August 5, 2016.
Based in Reston, VA, The Coury Group is an employee benefits firm that specializes in serving government contractors. The company takes a consultative approach to employee benefit plans and implementation, focusing on large groups. Joseph Jude (“JJ”) Coury and Terra Coury Bechara, principals of The Coury Group, will continue to operate the company as they have in the past, but they now have the additional national resources of NFP as well as the regional resources from The Meltzer Group to serve their clients.
