Rebecca M. Flynn Named First Female President and Board Chair at Jemicy

Jemicy School in Owings Mills is pleased to announce that Rebecca M. Flynn has been named the new president and chair of the school’s Board of Trustees. Flynn is the first female to hold this position.

For the past decade, Flynn has been involved with Jemicy, both as a parent and as co-chair the Capital Campaign and chair of the Development Committee. She was also a member of the Executive Committee and the Trustee Committee. Flynn and her husband Jeff have two children that attended Jemicy, which educates college-bound students with dyslexia or other related language-based learning differences.

Flynn, who lives in Owings Mills, has also held positions as senior vice president of marketing at Citigroup and senior product manager at Noxell Corporation. She is on the Board of the Saint Ignatius Loyola Academy, a tuition-free middle school for at-risk boys in Baltimore City.
