Napoli On The Bay Selects Marquesa Plaza In Naples As Site Of Fourth Southern Florida Location

Owner Telni Brito incorporates family recipes created 67 years ago in Calabria, Italy

Napoli on the Bay, a casual dining and take-out restaurant, has selected Marquesa Plaza as the site of the family-owned chain’s fourth location in southern Florida. The restaurant is expected to open at the 115,000 square foot shopping center, located on 3370 Pine Ridge Road in Naples, next month, according to owner Telni Brito.

Kristina O’Keefe of Continental Realty and Tara Stokes of IPC represented the landlord in this transaction, which brings Marquesa Plaza’s total occupancy to 98%. The center was approximately 45% occupied when the company acquired the asset in 2010.

Originally started by Brito’s great uncle twenty-five years ago, Napoli on the Bay has expanded over the years while owned and operated by Brito’s father and now himself. The restaurant features family recipes that were created and perfected in Calabria, Italy more than 67 years ago. Homemade dishes offer pasta specialties such as lasagna and spaghetti; veal, chicken and sausage parmigiana varieties; ten separate New York-style pizza combinations including a create-your-own option; and original hot and cold sandwiches.

“I am extremely familiar with the Naples area and recognize the large number of businesses, homes and families that are located near Marquesa Plaza,” stated Telni Brito. “We are trying to bring our pizza concept to as many people as possible and are currently in an expansion mode. The current retailers, including Starbucks and several restaurants, bring people seeking food to the center and we intend to capitalize on this existing traffic.”

More than 150,000 consumers reside within a 5-mile radius of the center, with an average household income exceeding $89,000.
