Continental Realty Corp. Achieves 100% Occupancy at Freedom Village with Latest Lease

Piney Run Liquors signs 3633 square foot lease at Eldersburg shopping center

Continental Realty Corporation, a Baltimore-based real estate investment and management company, has achieved 100% occupancy at Freedom Village with the signing of Piney Run Liquors to a 3633 square foot lease. The store is expected to open for business this fall at the 130,000 square foot shopping center, located at the intersection of Georgetown Boulevard and Liberty Road in the Eldersburg section of Carroll County. Melissa Sweeney of Continental Realty Corporation represented the landlord in this transaction.

Founded by Ralph and Susan Sparrow in 2011, Piney Run Liquors sells a complete selection of domestic and imported beer, wine and brand name liquor. The retailer is relocating from the Sykesville area to Freedom Village, which is anchored by Shoppers Food Warehouse, Rite Aid, Panera Bread and Liberatore’s Ristorante.

More than 42,000 people reside within a five-mile radius of Freedom Village, including nearly 15,000 households with an average household income of more than $125,000. Nearly 30,000 vehicles pass the shopping center on a daily basis.
