Casey Merbler
The Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore is pleased to announce the hiring of Casey Merbler as project coordinator for its Healthy Harbor Initiative.
In her new role, Merbler will work on a variety of projects including managing the social media accounts for Healthy Harbor and “Mr. Trash Wheel”, coordinating the annual Floatilla for a Healthy Harbor paddling event, planning fundraisers and hosting Inner Harbor Eco Tours for Baltimore City school groups.
Merbler originally joined the Waterfront Partnership team in 2015 as a volunteer with the Chesapeake Bay Trust’s Chesapeake Conservation Corps program where her work included coordinating volunteers and planning events. Her past experience also includes social media management, program management and grant research.
“Casey’s passion for Baltimore’s urban natural environment is infectious,” said Adam Lindquist, director of the Healthy Harbor Initiative. “We are excited to welcome her as a full-time employee and look forward to seeing her impact on the organization.”
Merbler graduated from Dickinson College in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and a minor in Spanish. She is a lifelong resident of Baltimore City.
