Andrea Dow
ClearView Group, LLC, a Maryland-based CPA & Management Consulting Firm, is pleased to announce that Andrea Dow will be joining the Risk Advisory team July 14th as a Senior.
Since June of 2015, Andrea has been the Internal Audit Lead with XO Communications. While managing a team of 2, Andrea acted as the project manager and lead on multiple projects related to the integration efforts in XO’s merger with Verizon. In addition to her other responsibilities, she worked as a liaison with Grant Thornton to create high quality testing procedures and reducing external auditing fees. She also presented recommendations for internal control improvements & operational efficiencies to executives and upper management.
Prior to joining XO, Andrea was a Financial Analyst with Planet Fitness, LLC. She played an integral part in the Company’s IPO process and S-1 preparation. From 2012 – 2014, she was an Assurance Associate with Ernst & Young. While at EY, she led IPO audit engagement – planning, primary and general substantive procedures, engagement conclusion, IPO filings and review.
Andrea has an MS in Accounting from the University of New Hampshire, and a BA in Accounting from Edinburgh Napier University in the UK.
