The Arc Baltimore Names BGE’s Larry Burley to its Board of Directors

The Arc Baltimore has elected Larry W. Burley, Jr., Manager of Resource and Workload Management, to its Board of Directors.

Burley brings an extensive background in implementing regional strategic objectives and identifying opportunities for growth to The Arc Baltimore Board.

“Larry possesses an incredible depth of knowledge that will aid him in his role on our Board,” says The Arc Baltimore’s Executive Director, Stephen H. Morgan. “He understands the many challenges our organization is facing and will be an important resource to us as we move forward.”

Burley began his career as a crew leader for BGE Underground Lines, where he led and managed crew members in the construction and maintenance of underground systems, including submarine, network, and self-contained oil-filled and pipe-type cable systems. He then served as Supervisor of Special Field Operations, Supervisor of the Equipment Diagnostic and Repair Unit, Supervisor in Underground Lines and then moved to Manager of Regional Electric operations in 2015.

A graduate of Strayer University, Burley is active in numerous charitable organizations. He has previously served as team lead for both the American Heart Association and the March of Dimes.

The Arc Baltimore currently supports more than 6,000 Baltimore City and Baltimore County residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
