Junior Achievement of Central Maryland Adds Sam Hodapp as Regional Director for Baltimore City

Junior Achievement of Central Maryland Inc. (JA), a non-profit organization dedicated to educating young people to succeed in a rapidly changing economy, announced the addition of Sam Hodapp as Regional Director for Baltimore City.

In this role, Hodapp will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, operations and growth of Junior Achievement programs in Baltimore City Public Schools, as well as Archdiocese and independent schools located within the city.

“Sam is a welcomed addition to JA,” said Jennifer Bodensiek, President and CEO of Junior Achievement of Central Maryland. “His work ethic and passion for giving back to the community completely embody the values that we uphold at JA. Our expanded Baltimore City Public School programs will benefit immensely from his leadership.”

Prior to joining JA, Hodapp worked for the Special Olympics for over eight years, beginning his career in 2008 as a Program Associate for Special Olympics in Houston, Tx. After moving to Baltimore, Md. in 2010, Hodapp served as the Program Coordinator for Special Olympics Baltimore and worked his way up to Greater Baltimore Director by 2013. As director, Hodapp was responsible for managing all Special Olympics efforts within the Greater Baltimore area, growing the metropolitan program size over 40%.

Hodapp graduated magna cum laude from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in psychology. Hodapp was also a member of the University Honors Program and National Society of Collegiate Scholars and was recognized on the Phi Beta Kappa, Dean’s list for six semesters.
