Gross, Mendelsohn & Associates, P.A. employees recently spent three days volunteering at Maryland SPCA, Maryland Food Bank and Stop Hunger Now. More than 50 employees participated in the firm’s annual community service projects.
Maryland SPCA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of pets in the community. Gross Mendelsohn assisted SPCA staff on October 30 by feeding animals, cleaning kennels and the entire SPCA property, and assisting with administrative tasks.
Maryland Food Bank provides food to approximately 600,000 hungry Marylanders each week. Gross Mendelsohn employees spent time at the organization’s distribution center on November 9, sorting food and assembling thousands of boxes.
Stop Hunger Now is an international hunger relief nonprofit that coordinates the distribution of food to impoverished areas across the world. The employees of Gross Mendelsohn’s Virginia office spent an afternoon on October 25, packaging meals to be shipped to those in need.
