Henry Pertman and Kristina Anthony Elected to HFTP Board

CohnReznick, LLP, one of the leading accounting, tax, and advisory firms in the United States, today announced that the Maryland chapter of Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) has named Henry Pertman, Director of Hospitality Consulting, and Kristina Anthony, Senior Associate, to its Board of Directors.

HFTP is the premier global professional association serving members in hospitality careers. Since 1952, HFTP’s mission has been to provide members with superior networking opportunities, industry-leading events, comprehensive certification programs, unique educational opportunities, and other essential resources for professional growth.

The Maryland chapter, one of 61 local HFTP chapters around the world, is committed to enriching hospitality in Baltimore and the surrounding areas. Pertman was elected as Vice President of HFTP’s Maryland chapter while Anthony will serve as Treasurer.

As members of the board, Pertman and Anthony will help shape the future success and growth of the HFTP Maryland chapter.

As Director of Hospitality Consulting in the Firm’s Baltimore office, Pertman leads CohnReznick’s consulting service delivery in the Mid-Atlantic region with a wide variety of expertise in the hospitality industry. His experience includes owning several metropolitan-area restaurants, 12 years with Oracle MICROS as senior sales manager, front and back-of-the-house management and training, business analytics, hospitality marketing and more. Pertman also serves on the Board of Directors for Restaurant Association of Maryland, Lincoln Culinary Institute and Anne Arundel Community College HCAT (Hotel, Culinary Arts, and Tourism).

Anthony is a senior audit associate with a focus on serving the needs of hospitality clients. She is also an active participant in the office communication and social committees in CohnReznick’s Baltimore office. Her background in the industry will help provide leadership and guidance for the Chapter’s financial governance.

Pertman and Anthony will serve on the HFTP Maryland Board of Directors for the upcoming year, from November 1, 2015 to October 31, 2016.
