Major Baltimore stocks did not move much, while the market fell. Wednesday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 0.2%, the NASDAQ closed down 0.5%, and the S&P 500 closed down 0.3%.

Biggest Gainer
Sourcefire, Inc. (NASDAQ:FIRE) was Wednesday's biggest gainer in Baltimore, rising 26.1% to close at $45.18. With volume of 5.6 million, the stock changed hands at 14.5 times its average over the past three months. Constellation Energy Group Inc. (NYSE:CEG) rose 0.8% to close at $36.41 on volume of 1.4 million, making it another big gainer for the day.

Biggest Loser
Wednesday's biggest loser was Human Genome Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ:HGSI), falling 6.3% to close at $8.36. Shares traded at 1.4 times their three-month average on volume of 10.8 million. Ciena Corporation (NASDAQ:CIEN), another big loser, closed at $14.94 (-4.1%) on volume of eight million.
