KDG announced today that CEO, President and Creative Director Justin Jones has been picked to work as graphic designer for the DC Scores Taproot Foundation Project.

Headquartered in San Francisco, California, the Taproot Foundation has additional offices in New York City, Chicago, Washington, DC, Seattle, and Los Angeles and is known for providing pro bono service outside of the legal community. Since 2001, the Taproot Foundation's Service Grant Program has supported more than 1,000 nonprofit organizations with pro bono services valued at over $58 million. The Taproot Foundation also operates the Pro Bono Action Tank, a program that helps corporations, professional service firms, trade associations, and professional schools create pro bono service programs.

DC SCORES builds teams through after school programs for over 800 low - income DC youth at 27 schools by instilling self-expression, physical fitness, and a sense of community.

" I'm very excited to work on this project," says Jones. "Giving back to the community in anyway I can has always been something that I strongly believe in. It's not always about what you get, but what you can give. As a businessman, I sometimes get wrapped into the inner
workings of the company. It's nice to be able to give something back."

Justin Jones brings more than 7 years of visual communication and design experience to The Taproot Foundation. As lead graphic designer, Justin will be responsible for producing DC SCORES updated brochure.
