David Citron Elected to NFTE Baltimore Board

David M. Citron
The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, Baltimore Affiliate, has elected David M. Citron, CFA, partner, chief investment officer and principal of WMS Partners, LLC, to its board of directors. He will serve a three-year term.
Prior to joining WMS Partners in 2002, Mr. Citron served as director at Carret and Company and vice president and portfolio manager at Wagner Citron Management Corp. He began his career in New York, where he was a trader of futures and options for Salomon Brothers and Drexel Burnham Lambert Trading Corporation.
Mr. Citron holds of bachelor of science degree in finance from the University of Maryland and is a CFA charterholder. He is also a founding member of the Counsel of Independent Financial Advisors (CIFA) and served on the advisory board of Charles Schwab Institutional.
NFTE is an international nonprofit based in New York that provides entrepreneurship programs to young people from low-income communities. The organization's Baltimore affiliate celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2012 and has reached 10,000 students in 10 years. NFTE currently provides entrepreneurship curriculum to 24 schools in Baltimore.
