HUNT VALLEY, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The National Healthcare Career Network (www.NHCNnetwork.org) announced today that HOSA-Future Health Professionals has become its newest partner. Terri Pla, the NHCN's Vice President of Health Care, says that adding HOSA "will bring nearly 120,000 individual members to our growing network. Employers using the NHCN to source top talent can now tap into HOSA's impressive membership as part of their recruiting strategies. HOSA (www.HOSA.org) is a national student organization endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education (HSE) Division of the Association for Career & Technical Education. Its two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA's goal is to encourage all health occupations instructors and students to join and be actively involved.

HOSA provides a unique program of leadership development, motivation, and recognition exclusively for secondary, postsecondary, adult, and collegiate students enrolled in HSE programs. Since its inception in 1976, HOSA has grown steadily and now has 48 chartered HOSA State Associations and approximately 3,200 secondary and postsecondary/collegiate chapters. An acknowledged leader in preparing students to succeed in allied health, many HOSA members become certified as CNAs, LPNs, EMTs and many more. Its growing alumni base of 2.5 million members reflects HOSA's impact and influence on the career life cycles of its constituents.
