Larry Moore
Larry Moore, RN, BSN, has been named director of Critical Care and Emergency Services at St. Joseph Medical Center. His administrative responsibilities include the MSICU, CSU, Inpatient Dialysis, the Emergency Department, and the Stroke Program. In his leadership role at St Joseph Medical Center, he has developed and/or implemented core measures such as ventilator and UTI bundles, pressure ulcer prevention, surgical site infection prevention and DVT prevention. He worked to help establish the Daisy Award Program. He has established and maintained a strong, positive history of patient, employee, and physician satisfaction. Moore received his BSN from Georgetown University. Most recently he served as the interim manager of the Central Cardiac Operating Room at St. Joseph Medical Center, and previous to that was the nurse manager of the Cardiac Surgery Unit and Inpatient Dialysis. He is currently enrolled in the MSN program at Walden University. His nursing experience includes serving as an emergency room nurse at Franklin Square Hospital, working at the United States Air National Guard in Baltimore, and working in the CVICU/SICU RN at Georgetown University Hospital.
