Junior Achievement of Central Maryland (JACMD) has appointed William Yerman for a two-year term as vice chairman of its board of directors. Yerman joined the JACMD board in 2003, and has served as board chairman.

With over 20 years of experience in the real estate and title industry, Yerman formed The Strata Group to provide a comprehensive and seamless collaboration of real estate services to facilitate the home buying process. As CEO and partner, he is responsible for achieving the strategic plans and policies as established by the nine Strata Group partners.

A past president of the Maryland Land Title Association and the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors, Yerman currently serves on Garrison Forest School's board of trustees. He graduated from Emory University and the University of Maryland School of Law.

Junior Achievement of Central Maryland is dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. Through a dedicated volunteer network, Junior Achievement provides in-school and after-school programs for K-12 students which focus on work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy. Founded in 1957, the non-profit organization annually serves more than 20,000 students throughout Central Maryland.
